A continental congress of the Latin American Studies Association
LASA Africa 2026 is the second Continental Congress of LASA in Africa. The LASA Continental Congresses provide an opportunity to collaborate and work on the many interesting theoretical and practical problems presented in each continent in relation to Latin America.
LASA membership is not required to submit a proposal and participate actively in this event. We are working with several groups of scholars, which allows to waive the membership requirement.
