Visa Information

If you plan to attend the LASA Africa 2026 Congress on-site, be sure to check the requirements for travel and entry to Senegal. 

Letters to support the Senegalese visa application are available for people who submitted a proposal as well as for those registered for the Congress.

Check if you need a visa

Senegal has specific visa policies depending on the traveler's nationality and the duration of their stay. While some nationalities are exempt from visa requirements for short visits, others may need to apply for a visa.

If you require a visa, the Government of Senegal instructs applicants to:

  • Complete the official visa application form.
  • Present a passport valid for at least 6 months and any additional documents requested. Processing times vary.
  • Be aware of any health regulations, such as required vaccinations, before traveling.
